(Boston, MA; May 3, 2006) Polaris Capital Management, Inc., a global and international value equity manager headquartered in Boston, has appointed Kristin Weisker as a relationship manager with responsibility for client service and business development.

Previously, Ms. Weisker was a relationship manager at Fidelity Management Trust Co, a division of Fidelity Investments, where she served the institutional consulting community. From 1992-2001, Ms. Weisker worked as a client service relationship manager at ValueQuest/TA, an institutional global investment firm.

A 1989 graduate of Northeastern University, Ms. Weisker began working with Mr. Horn in 1988, when she joined Horn & Co., and later worked with him from 1990-1992 at Freedom Capital. During those years, she assisted in trading, research, client relations, and portfolio accounting.
